When it comes to celebrity memoirs, I tend to roll my eyes, wonder who’s ghostwriting it and move on. But when I read an excerpt of Ashley Judd’s ALL THAT IS BITTER AND SWEET, I immediately wanted to read the whole book. She is so smart and articulate and so determined to bring attention to those needing help that I couldn’t quit reading. Her words challenged me to think about the my own actions and standing up for what I believe in. Although it surprises me, I highly recommend her book.
